As long as it doesn't start 3D printing other 3D printers. I think that is how Skynet started.

I'm hopefully 2 days away from opening an Etsy store. Jocelyn has posted the mini grocery store shelves on a FB group and they kind of blew up. I spent a couple weeks learning CAD and designed my own original pieces that fold flat for easier mailing. One is the store shelf and the other is a fridge. I am up to version 20+ of some of the parts. What works in the program often doesn't work on the printer because of the machine's tolerances. I think I have it nearly dialed in though. I am currently doing some filing to get everything to fit perfectly and I would like to remove that from the process by adjusting the designs by fractions of MM.

I told myself if I get a surge of initial orders, as in 20+ shelves, I will buy a second printer. I already have one picked out. Basically the same I have one, but a much bigger print bed.

It was a challenge to pick a price I thought that was fair but also made it worth my time. As a compromise, I am going to offer the Facebook group a 20% discount for the first couple of weeks so they feel like they are getting a deal and then I can start charging the price I want to charge.

I dont expect to make it rich, but it would be fun to make some allowance money on the side.

Here is the fridge:

It will be another Creality printer. Ender 3 Max, CR-10, or I saw you can buy a kit and expand the Ender 3 into a huge printer for like $400 total vs buying an equivalent sized printer for $1,000. Orders need to pick up before I do it though.

Here is the store. https://www.etsy.com/shop/Evol3Dprinting

I've been pretty happy with the sales so far. It's nothing to retire off of, but it's an order every other day or so that has paid for my printer. I have some private messages that may lead to some big consistent orders, but not holding my breath.

Also designing more things. I'm about to print a proof of concept for an ice cream chest freezer with dual sliding plastic lids and I want to revamp my fridge if the chest freezer works out. It will make printing and assembly easier. Need to finish fulfilling an order first though

I've spend more on shelving than the printer at this point. This was wall to wall storage prior to this. Moved the long shelves and made this entire wall into my print space. Need to move the printer in here still, then I'll be able to do the entire process without leaving my utility room

I'll give it another go in a few days once I finish my Etsy stuff. This was my 2nd attempt. I thought adding a brim would fix it. One of the pieces got knocked down by the print head and then it was a mess.

Time lapse of the fail. No idea why it is upside down

Yikes! If it ends up wasting too much material let me know and I'll be happy to cover the cost!

You better! This is going to cost me almost 80 cents to make once I fix the issue!

Prints are so cheap generally. It's great.

I'm too busy fulfilling customer orders now to try yours again, basically need to print around the clock to get my Saturday sales out the door on time. I did order a 2nd nicer printer and it gets here Thursday or Friday. I would like to print your stand on my new printer as a test. Hopefully by next week I have it ready for you.
