Broken Furance

Postby Tyler » Mon Dec 10, 2012 11:45 pm

Our house was unusually cold today and after tinkering with the furnace I noticed it was just blowing cold air. The landlord's handyman came and looked at it and we got it going again but it shuts off after a minute of use. I need to manually start it up tonight every 5 mins to get the house warm enough before going to bed. Hopefully tomorrow he can come and fix it.

That sucks, does your house retain heat well enough that it won't be terrible tonight?

I remember one of the houses I lived in in St. Cloud had a power outage for a few hours in the middle of winter and it got down to below 50 in the house.

Our house pretty much stayed around 58 all night with it not running. But now the heater won't go on at all. We'll just have to bundle up tonight.

Got it going one more time. It will shut off in 90 seconds. We should be survive the night.

Hope we can fix it tomorrow so Roscoe isn't cold all day!

Survived the night! I got up a couple times during the night to start it up again, the coldest it got was 50 degrees.
