TWD podcasts

Postby Tyler » Mon Feb 24, 2014 8:31 am

Corey and I both listen to "The Watching Dead" podcast. They have 2 per episode, one 25 minute episode is posted like an hour after the show on Sunday with their instant thoughts on the episode, and then a 2 hour long one on Tuesday night where they break down the entire episode scene by scene and have users give their feedback and thoughts.

Listening to this podcast makes me appreciate the show a lot more and it's one of my favorite weekly podcasts. You should all check it out if you want to get more out of TWD.

Podcast had a listener write in comparing watching TWD is like being in an abuse relationship.

Things started off great, but then the shows/person showed they have a bad side. You quickly forgive them and are on cloud 9 when things are going well. Things go bad and you threaten to leave but find yourself going back and then getting happy again when things are looking good. The show lets you down again and its still not enough to make you leave. You find yourself defending the show saying that there are some good episodes and that things will eventually get on track

I think the whole show is bad. I honestly don't know why I watch it. Probably because boredom.

I agree..I've decided that I'm drawn to it because I like the general idea of human survival in a post-apocalyptic world filled with zombies and no one else (nor TWD) has done that remotely well in regards to drama

A.Ron and me had an email exchange. He isn't reading my email on air because someone beat me to it. Still famous though!

Sad to hear my 2 favorite hosts aren't doing FTWD. They did a live watch of s02e01, but they said it's just too bad to dedicate time to watching and producing a show

Baldmove guys have decided they want Westworld to be the big episode of the week so TWD now comes out late Monday and WW late Tuesday.
I like this schedule change. Gives them more time to research WW and gets TWD out sooner for that larger audience

Wilkins listened to the 2 hour podcast covering the finale. I've been trying to get him to listen for 3 years and he finally did! I hope he continues to listen to them during The Leftovers.

I will for sure for the leftovers. Maybe even TWD now that they admit it isn't for analysis, but to crap all over it. There was nothing to analyze.
