They have a pretty good setup there, why are they so anxious to leave? And where are they trying to go?

I don't understand why they're being such bitches about everything in this town. It's better than they've ever had!

Andrea is such a bitch. They're giving her everything and she's just acting like it's nothing and that they're doing everything wrong.

What the hell is going on? The Governor is bad, but why? The soldiers would have been helpful to them. And what is up with all the heads?

The scientist guy is also really strange. Michonne is going to get to the bottom of it for sure.

Wags definitely doesn't know about post-apocalyptic slices of paradises. If it's too good to be true, then it most definitely isn't good. I was expecting them to be a township of cannibals.

The Gov killed the soldiers to strike fear into his town. To show them that they will not survive outside the walls. As for the heads and the Scientist, I'm not sure of what to make of it yet. Heads are probably "trophies"

Ah. Good call on why he killed the soldiers. If the townspeople think that trained soldiers can't survive outside the walls then there is no way they can. they are fully dependent on the Gov.

And interesting about the cannibals. If they talk about eating meat than you are probably right.

I doubt they are cannibals. I've just seen too many movies and tv shows where some family moves into the perfect town only to have the only town hiding a dark secret.

That's the exact plot of one of The Walking Dead video game episodes

Yes, all of this is very obvious to us, because we are seeing it all. From the point of view of Andrea and Michonne, they should have been nothing but grateful. Especially Andrea, who was about to die and they nursed her back to health. Obviously they should be suspicious, but after being there for the time that they were and not seeing anything worth suspicion, they should have stopped being such bitches.

Given their scenario, they would be suspicious. In a time when helping each other is far too uncommon, everyone is on their wits end about what's happening to the world around them. Hell Merle even brings that up in the episode. Saying something along the lines of being more afraid of someone who has their hands in their pockets instead of a gun ready to shoot.

I would agree with you if they were telling them to stay. But all they did was give them food, rest and medicine (again, Andrea was almost dead and now she's not because of them) and told them they were free to leave if they wanted to.

Free to leave so they can get shot in the back! And then et!

ok now I'm just arguing for the sake of stubbornness.
