Trials Fusion

Postby Tyler » Thu Oct 02, 2014 7:47 am

Trials Fusion came out about 6 months ago. We were all fans of Trials and Trails Evolution so I picked it up for PC to play with the Xbox controller. Will probably play it tonight and report back. I think it's suppose to be futuristic. If this doesn't scratch my Trials itch I will go back to Evolution

We were really big into it for a couple months and for good reason. Probably the best arcade game on Xbox for sure

I've been playing Fusion a little bit, it's okay so far. They don't have the same annoying guy screaming as an announcer...and I actually miss him. The game is "futuristic" and there is like a Cortana type lady helping you.

There is also a point/money/level system, I don't remember the older game having this other than you neex XX amount of Trophies to move on

After 30 mins I am like 20% done with the game. Granted I have only been playing "easy" levels so far and have been able to make it through all of them on my first run.

There are also challenges on each map now, can't remember if that is new or not. Like do special tricks or other things. I can't figure out how to do tricks yet, waiting for the training to cover that then I'll go back and try to get them.

I played through all the noon expert levels last night. Took less than an hour. Mildly disappointing but I'll wait to judge until I finish the expert tracks.

On fusion or the old ones? I assume you mean Fusion. Get it through the Xbox arcade?

Yeah fusion. I think I got gold on almost all of them first run through except expert. I forget for some reason I'm pretty good at trials.

Have you ever seen/tried any levels on ninja difficulty Tyler? They have to be down loaded but they are insane even just to watch someone else beat them

No, i haven't looked into those. And I remember you being a god at this game. Do you bother with the trick challenges on the maps?

I hate the trick challenges but I haven't had much time to do any of the bonus challenges.

I think a couple times. Got to a point where most prebuilt tracks were too easy and the custom tracks were so hard it wasn't fun any more

I bought the 2019 version of the game today for $12. Mixed reviews, but I'm excited to try it. Will be another perfect game for the media server and GTX 1050 ti

Played for about 45 minutes last night. The gameplay is fun and exactly how i remember, but the reviews were right. Anything outside of the game is garbage. The menu to select the levels isn't streamline, you unlock worthless gear boxes constantly that I just ignore, there is a career mode that I think I can also ignore.

I just want to play the maps and get new bikes! I am probably an hour away from unlocking a better bike still. I am having fun and will continue to play, the bloated non-game stuff is easy enough to ignore.

Oh, every map you play is against 3 other ghost online players. I don't remember that from the first game. I remember you could play against your own ghost to beat your own time, but I don't remember it ALWAYS having ghost players.

If I remember correctly, I think it also showed ghosts of your friends' times who had the game.
