I wish I would have stuck with it. I logged 40+ hours and then I just stopped playing for some reason. Hours would fly by when I was playing and I wouldn't even realize it.

Yeah it's definitely a time loser. It's a lot like kerbal though, you learn everything and then if you stop playing for even like 3 days it's all gone.

Picked this up today. Seems better than SimCity. I'm sure I'll enjoy the rest of the 1 hour I play this game in my life.

Lol. I started it once on Glass's steam share and it seems like it will take forever.

I played for about half an hour. It's not fast paced if your trying to plan things out. It is a lot of fun though

Woo! You played your first PC game. Check out the steam workshop. There are tons of mods there that improve the game

bmyoungs, have you gotten any mods from the Steam Workshop? Reading my early comments on this thread really make me want to play the game again.

I am installing mods as i find things that annoy me. I have the 50% trash mod, auto demolish abandoned buildings, and a couple others like that. I hated that my city filled up with trash despite having 4 incineration plants 2 landfills and only 12000 people.

I am on my 3rd city after making some bad mistakes regarding money management. Civil Engineering is hard!

The 50% trash one wasn't a thing when I played.

I think the most useful is the one that lets you quickly change the direction of roads and add stop lights.

Bmyoungs is now a professional Cities streamer. I was bored and wanted to see his city, it was bad timing though because he had just started a new city. He only missed up a lot when he built on the wrong side of the river, but be recovered

It actually took of right after you left. I am going the opposite of my usual method of waiting to educate people and built a ton of schools and a university.

Yeah, it's pretty fun. I started a city from the beginning but I like it better using the cheat that gives you access to everything right away. It's tough to plan for things when you don't even have access to them until later. Biggest issue I have is traffic into the city off of the highways, seems like it always jams up no matter what.

I like using the fancy interchanges that you can download from the workshop.
