Jackbox Party Pack (video game)

Postby Tyler » Fri Dec 25, 2015 6:08 pm

Steam is down so I can't link it, but available on consoles too. Tons of trivia/party games. There is a jackpack 1 and 2. We got both and have been playing all day with family.

Coolest thing is you use mobile devices as the controller while everyone looks at the TV. Games support 3-8 mostly, but some more or less. You Don't Know Jack is one that most people know. A lot of fun other ones.

Totally worth the $12 for the first one while its on sale. I think any laptop can run it, just plug it into the TV.

Brad is playing it today too I know. What's your favorite games Brad? Everyone loves Drawful for sure.

The console version has a couple different games than the pc version, but fibbage is tons of fun and drawful is always the favorite.

Haven't played the second one at all yet but we are looking forward to it for sure

Quiplash had me laughing until now I cried a couple of times. I loved that, fibbage, and drawful.

Jocelyn and I tried fibbage with just us 2. They only give you 2 other answers. We both picked the truth every single time except for once when Jocelyn picked one of their lives. Not nearly as fun

Jackbox servers were done Friday night so we couldn't play at first. Had to refresh constantly for 30 minutes and then they came back. Sucks that you can't do anything with them down. They should work out an intranet version

We played the 2 games that work for only 2 players last night. One of them was a trivia type game with multiple choice, the other was a guess the percentage type of thing. Both fun! Looking forward to playing them all with more friends.

Two answers for Quiplash were "poop" and "turd". Turd got 11 votes and poop zero.

Jackbox Party Pack (video game)

I played Jackbox games with my family over the holidays and we had a blast. Quiplash was easily the best game.

Notable quips:
"What would you do if you were stuck in a mall overnight" - "EAT THD SUSHI"
"A fitting name for the titanic sequel. Titanic 2: ____" - "Turns out everyone is okay" and "10,000 mikes under the sea"
"A painting that michelangalo was ashamed he made" - "The dingleberry single berry dance"

There were plenty more that i don't remember. I really enjoy Jackbox games :D

By far the best game if you are with people that are comfortable around each other. It's always a little tense the first time you introduce people to it and then someone breaks the ice with
► Show Spoiler
and then the rest of the game is R rated and hilarious.

Yeah i hear ya. Then again we have also played Cards against Humanity with my family too...that was a slightly awkward but hilarious experience

So naturally quiplash became rated R very quickly lol
