I talked about this game before. It is suppose to be better than the new Roller Coaster Tycoon game that came out this year.

Looks neat. I've been thinking about getting some sort of build/manage game like this or Cities or something.

Will this game be like CITIES compared to simcity, or a better version of Roller Coaster Tycoon

Because CITIES is like 100 billion times easier than simcity

Yes, Cities version of SimCity. This will be way better than RCT (at least the most recent one).

I am interested. Will buy while drunk and it is on sale for $15, like CITIES.

I wonder what Planet Coaster will retail for. I think Cities is $30, but you can usually find it for $20-25. $30 seems about right for these types of games.

I bought it. Remember my "family" members can play it for free, but if you do you must post about it here.

Initial reactions are very positive. The game looks very pretty. As good as Cities looks compared to Sim City, this looks better. The control in the game is insane. I'm guessing a large percentage of the customization you can do will go over looked.
Example: marketing campaign
Fast pass passes
Min/max ride time
Countess things to build

Guests detail is very cool. You can do FPV on any guest. Watch them do a ride and how they interact with their family. When you're on a ride you can watch the facial expressions change on people based on the ride

I'm learning when Jocelyn is playing and has it at 3x speed its a hog on the CPU. I'm trying to watch something on Plex that requires transcoding. Between the game, Plex, virtual machine, and internet browsers my CPU is at 100% and I'm buffering on Plex

Jocelyn was telling me it's harder to keep the staff happy than the guests. You need to set their pay, offer trainings, promotions, etc.

Idk if that's disabled on normal mode? She is doing challenge mode. Just try it!

The hardest part of this game is trying to get a certain 'unemployed' member of this forum to give the rest of us a turn to play it off of Tylers shared steam account! Besides that, the game is really fun! There are a lot of options and things to micro manage, but if you play at 1x it is not that difficult to manage.

Too early to call it better than classic rollercoaster tycoon?

The game is pretty fun. Some of the campaign goals is to build a custom coaster that has certain things in it. Those are REALLY hard, because creating a coaster is super hard for me.

I think it's better than roller coaster tycoon, but the memories of that game are 15 years old

I hope someone here is enjoying this game. Jocelyn hasn't touched it since we installed The Sims again.
