Tylersucks is obsessed with this game and wanted me to try it. I told him I won't have the time, so he gifted it to me anyways. I guess I will need to try it or I will feel bad he spent $15 on me.

For those that know nothing about the game...
10/10 - Steam
You've inherited your grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley. Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home?

Without playing the game, it seems like Farmville meets Minecraft

MP support coming in the future too. Its more Harvest Moon meets Minecraft meets Terreria.

I was live streaming this tonight and got up to 2 followers (itsalvo, tylersucks). tylersucks got too frustrated with my playing style that he had to call me and walk me through some things.

Man, Tyler, excellent streaming last night. I can't believe you broke your record of 1500+ subs in one night. And I've never seen anyone make that much in donations in 2 hours. You're gonna be at the top of the twitch rankings soon enough.

Have you thought about going to twitchcon? You'd be pretty well-known there already!!

I don't want people to think I am streaming just for the money and fame. I thought it would be fun to share my Stardew Valley experience with others and hopefully turn more people onto this amazing game. Will I turn down a donation? No, but it's not my goal to get rich from this. I want to use this platform to promote a game and to teach the skills required to master it.

I played a bit last night. I'm having fun with it, but I feel like I'm not even scratching the surface of things. It is very relaxing, which is nice in a game sometimes, but also means there are no stakes or penalties.

You can marry people in this game?! There are so many RPG elements that I haven't even started exploring.

Bryan, you see there are new maps? I imagine you don't want to start over on one of them.

Yeah, you could always marry. But who wants to be tied down?? LOL. They actually help out around the farm. I should get me a wife.
Yeah, I cant see me starting over anytime soon. Not enough time for that.

I got the 5th level of the mine. Do all of the rocks come back after you bust them up and then leave?

Does the map not being to scale throw you off? I am figuring out the lay of the land now, but if you go by the map it is hard to gauge distance.
Example: I was cutting through town to get to the mine and it took a couple of screens. If you go left out of your house and then up and over it is super close.

Yes, Everything resets in the mines. And yes, it is not to scale. That route is the shortest to the mines!

I used to love harvest Moon. I feel like this game will bring me some great nostalgia and I would enjoy it. So, Xbox one or PC? I don't have a dedicated graphics card in my PC but I feel my integrated graphics could run this game...
