Wilkins gets his Rift tomorrow. Any tips?

-ignore setup if it says sensors are too far apart
-permenatly mount the sensors to walls
-If using 2 sensors put them diagonal from each other, not both in front of you.
-there is a free app on the Oculus store to help with sensor placement. Anything blue is a dead zone in app
-the rigid head strap should be much lower than you thing. Base of head, not top of it.

Need pics of your setup Wilkins. He had some issues with video displaying on the Rift, but solved it by unplugging one of his monitors. Weird that fixed it, he will need to play around with combination of dongles like I did.

Nice Busch Light, now I better go have one...

You can organize the cables better. Placement looks great for a 2 sensor setup. The rear one could maybe be pointed more at the play space vs computer monitors?

I switched them a bit more and recalibrated the floor. When I started I was four feet under the floor

That will randomly happen to me sometimes in steam games.

This is an advance settings option that allows you to fix a lot of SteamVR things without taking off the headset. Adjust space, fix floor, fix sound, etc.
