Just announced. I'm hyped. Loved Red Dead Redemption. I wish they'd bring it to PC, and it doesn't look like RDR2 is announced for PC either. :/

I had some college buddies that loved this game. I have never played it though.

If this was on PC I would be a little more excited, but I doubt I would buy it regardless.

I can't wait for Janelle to play this, so I can play other games without feeling guilty.

She liked the first one?
You own a console that can play this?

Same. Watched it played a couple times and it looks cool, I've just never owned it myself.

She beat the first one probably 5 times. I might buy a console, just for this.

Purple_Hayes informed me that Red Dead Redemption is actually a sequel to Read Dead Revolver. I forgot that game existed.

I thought of a name for the 3rd one: Read Dead Rumpelstiltskin

With how much PC market Rockstar has, I'd be shocked if it wasn't just a delayed PC release.

Also, with how much of a cash cow the online GTA V turned out to be, I'd reckon they'd add that into RDR2, as well.

Red Dead Redemption was one of the few games I actually played all the way through. I really liked it.

I liked playing Liar's Dice.

We would play it as a drinking game in college.

You would play the video game and play the mini game or you would play liars dice IRL?

I've never played the version in the game, but the IRL version we play is different than RDD and Pirates of the Caribbean (based on what I've read).
I'm not saying the version I've taught all my friends is right or wrong, it's just a different game with the same name.

My dad would play the crap out of this game. I remember getting Gun when the Xbox 360 just launched and I came home to him trying to play it, with no sound, because he couldnt figure out how to turn on the audio receiver.

ROCKSTAR'S Red Dead Redemption 2 release date was delayed earlier this week but Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick has explained why they've made the tough decision.

Earlier this week, Rockstar Games confirmed the news that fans had been dreading, that Red Dead Redemption was to be delayed with the release date pushed back from Holiday 2017 to "Spring 2018."

Rockstar initially said that the decision to delay the game was in order to "ensure we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans."

The developer further explained on its official website, writing:

"This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans."

"We are very sorry for any disappointment this delay causes, but we are firm believers in delivering a game only when it is ready. We are really excited to bring you more details about the game this summer."

However, since that announcement from Rockstar, CEO Strauss Zelnick from parent company Take-Two held an earnings call for the end of its fiscal year and revealed a lot more information behind the reason to delay the game.

Tomorrow.

Wilkins, how are you ensuring you have it in your hands at 12:01 tonight so your wife can take tomorrow off and play it all day?
