I've heard GREAT things*.

*On Penny Arcade's "Downloadable Content" podcast, my only source for video game news.

I listen to a podcast who listens to Penny Arcade and it trickles down to me that way.

I'll be sure to report back later on it. It looks like 4 players would be the most fun, but I only have 2 controllers. CPT g2g in the future to play it and other games.

That statement fundamentally changed the way I look at the world.

 The podcast doesn't solely talk about Penny Arcade. They were discussing video games in general and said they heard about a game via PA.

This was a big hit last night. We're lame and usually go to bed by 10:30 on weekends if we aren't doing anything. We didn't start playing this until 10 and stayed up until midnight playing!!

It's a lot of a fun and VERY stressful. I'm curious to know if goals stay the same if you add more players or if they expect more from you.

The wife and I had a pretty good strategy. We would go in blind every level and completely fail. We would then create a plan and assign specific duties and do a little better. On the 3rd-10th tries we did 60% plan but also yelled at each other when we needed help with something. We got 3/3 stars on maybe 3 and 2/3 on 7ish. Not sure how many levels there are, but I feel like we barely scratched the surface.

This game is great! Thanks a bunch Tyler for telling me about it!

Started playing yesterday with the wife at 2pm, and played straight for 3 hours. We pulled away long enough to make dinner, then hopped back on and played until we beat it at 8:30pm. My wife was so sad it was over hahaha. Luckily we still have some DLC levels we can play :D

You beat the entire game in a day?! Did you 3 star them all?

I like to compare video game entertainment to movie tickets.
Going to a movie for the 2 of us would be $20 for 2 hours of entertainment. This game was $16 (I think) and will provide at least 6 hours of fun based on your play through. Worth it.

Beat the whole game with minimum two stars per level. We might go back and try to 3 star them all at some point, but some of the later levels are super frustrating lol

I got it on PC. Wired up my PC to my TV, ran a few usb extenders and voila! Couch co-op.

I should find more couch co-op games like this to play with my wife :)

We played more last night. We got to the pizza making levels. We also got to the first level that we didn't have enough stars to continue. I think we needed 29 and we had 28. We were able to go back to an older level and pick up an extra star.
However!!! Now the next level needs 2 more stars to continue. We will have to go back and beat 2 other levels better.

I'm pretty sure I'm getting this for the random game nights I have. Between this and Diner Duo, I think I'll be pretty happy for awhile.

Mainly resource/time management... but I think cooking falls into that category a lot.

Haha right. Overcooked could be about making random widgets, but since it is cooking themed it draws in non-gamers.
