Only if you promise not to get us kicked out! Corey and Wags almost did last time.
We were playing with VRChat royalty and we didn't even realize it! It was like playing with Major Nelson.

How are we going to play with people when we use different hardware (Rift, Vive, PC?). Last time we muted the game during the talent show and did Rift party chat. Does Steam voice chat work in VR? That's the only one I think might work.

People can't take constructive criticism.

Maybe they would if you did it with them privately, instead of yelling "boo" at them from the back of the audience.

Lol. Don't forget about the giant thumbs down that flies toward their face.

Oh yeah. People in front of us were getting mad and one of the host asked them to stop sending the thumb downs.

They wouldn't get thumbs downs if they didn't suck so much.

Corey and I attended this Friday, Kyle tried but couldn't get in. The hosted event is more closed off than it was the first time we tried. You had to friend the host (Creator of VRchat) and he would invite you to the Open Mic room. Once in the room you couldn't invite friends.

The first time he set up a teleport and anyone could join. Once in there you could invite anyone.

Since we had to friend the creator of the game to attend neither of us acted out, but that was mostly because the acts were better. It was a lot of guitar, piano, and singing. No odd short stories. The best one was the human beat box. None of the acts were actually amazing, but the novelty of VR made them all fun. Corey and I did a private chat during it all so we could talk without disturbing others.

Most fun was probably messing with the other guests during the performances. Corey and I kept trying to hit on the anime girls (without talking) and motioning them to sit with us.

That's annoying that you have to friend the creator.

He probably does it that way for a couple of reasons
1) rooms are limited to 30 people. This way he makes sure people that actually want to attend can and not random people who just stumble into the room
2) it's impossible to find the room if you actually wanted to attend it. Being able to add him and choose "request invite" is a lot easier

This doesn't encourage new people to join tho. We got lucky the first time we found it and that's not going to happen anymore.
