Watchmen - s01e09
I didn't watch last night! Need to avoid spoilers today. Kids were both having hard nights and I didn't want to start it unless I knew I could watch it uninterrupted and without a grump attitude.
Watchmen - s01e09
Watch it already

Pretty lame that is basically confirmed in the file and not by the show. It really was the only thing left unanswered in the episode.
I liked the finale. I didn't think it was the strongest episode of the season, but it did everything I wanted it to (besides Lubeman). The watch batteries, the clock, the bronze Adrian... wait, what crashed on the farm? The spaceship carrying the bronze Adrian?
Do I think Angelia has Jon's powers? 60% of me says no.
LG being a masked 7K really didn't pay off for much since his gun was taken right away. He really didn't offer much help to Adrian either, other than setting a temperature to "exactly 22 degrees". because at 21 degrees the shrimp plan wouldn't have worked?
I liked that Adrian made the game warden and not Jon. He did it so he wouldn't be bored and then the slap in the face when he said "no" about being a worthy adversary.
I still have more I want to talk about, but this is a good first dump.

I guess the thing I'm disappointed in most isn't lube man, but the lack of interaction of Laurie and Dr. M. That would've been interesting.
They also never really had any reason for the manhattan booths. It was just kind of never talked about again. This is tying into lady trieus booth monitor thing.
And elephants.
And lube man or lube woman.
Or the sudden stop of the mind control device. Like...it just did the one thing.
And what about the Petey files explaining lady trieus subsidized tv monitors in a given radius around the tower.
Why did lady trieu wait until 5 min before Adrian "crashed" before buying the farm. She had it basically scheduled as he was on a craft.

Unless that new person was Coogler (Creed, Black Panther). Before s01 aired the show runner threw that name out as a great person to take on season 2.bmyoungs wrote:Is rather them bail than force a second season under a new person.
