Place is called Buhler. Just started yesterday.

I'm thinking of just going with the work phone and seeing if I can return the one I got last week. Should still be able to according to the receipt. Having two phones on me is a pain in the ass. Also I'm not super impressed with the S6. Battery life is about as good as my 3 year old iPhone 5 was.

Sarcasm? A new phone has the same battery as a 3 year old phone?

The s6 is notorious for poor battery life. It's a smaller phone... And it's powerful. The size doesn't lend itself enough space for a decent battery.

If you want good battery life on a Samsung phone, go with Note 5 or S6 Edge Plus

Also have to remember you are typically doing a lot more when you first get a phone causing the battery life to appear worse than normal.

Downloading apps, updating tons of apps, and general new phone play time make a huge difference

Yeah I was thinking of that the first few days but really monitored it these past couple days that I haven't really used it much. The iPhone 6 from work lasts longer even when using it a lot more (including downloading apps) and the S6 loses a ton more batter just sitting idle without any usage.

When it gets an update to Android 6.0 the "doze" feature should help with standby battery life.

I do like the camera a lot more on the S6 vs. iPhone.

ejhartman and bmyoungs, what do you think of the LG G5 and modules. I don't think I get it? People say to ignore the module and it is a solid all around phone anyways.

I would agree with that opinion. However, there is a possibility for other modules from 3rd parties in the future I believe. So if you like the phone overall, you can look forward to that (perhaps?)

Seems like a good phone. Metal body, decent size (not too big), and top notch specs. The camera tech is newer, and I think the verdict is still out on it. IMO the two things that will make or break the phone will be the usability of the software (LG's Android version has not been great in the past, but getting better) and the battery life.

Also, LG has been okay about updating their phones when new versions of Android are released, which is a plus.

I'm interested, but I also dislike the LG skin. I'm not sure any of the upsides of the phone suit me personally. I do like the modules, and the idea of 3rd party modules is extremely promising.

I think if I were to choose between this and any other phone right now I'd probably go with either the Nexus 6p or moto x pure. Both stock or near stock Android, Nexus has fingerprint sensor/better camera. But moto has only their suite of motion gestures installed over stock Android which I really love.

I won't be moving from the turbo any time soon though. When I do I'll be buying unlocked direct from manufacturer rather than from carrier.
