First episode wasn't very impressive. The only part I really like is how nice his ex-wife's new husband is and how much he hates him anyway.
HBO's Vice Principals
We watched the pilot and liked it. Quite a few parts had us laughing out loud, but we are also biased. Jocelyn likes it because it is set in a school and I like it because of Walton Goggins. I hope the other episodes focus more on his character since the pilot followed Danny McBride's character around outside of work and Goggins was only in it when they interacted.

This is a pretty funny show. Danny McBride is pretty funny, and even more so when this escalates sooo quickly in episode 2.

We have these recorded but I haven't watched it yet.

Each episode has one thing about it that I really like but overall it leaves me disappointed. Like in the second episode I love Walton's relationship with his mother in law.

You call digging in the trash, to B&E, to vandalism, to burning a house down as escalation?

No, that was normal. But he punched a hole through her artwork, and that is uncalled for.
HBO's Vice Principals
Up to 5 episodes.
The show isn't the funniest thing on TV, but it's good enough that I look forward to watching it. I thought for sure they were going to show the neighbor being dead after being clocked in the temple with brass knuckles.

Most of the show is very -meh- funny, but things where like, he put his foot in the guys yard, and then was immediately beaten. That stuff is comedy gold.

LOL'd just thinking about it. The look on their faces before it happened. It was like a child testing his boundaries with an adult.
Being a fan of Goggins increases my enjoyment of this show tenfold.
Show is 7.8 on IMDB compared to Silicon Valley at 8.5
7.8 seems about right for VP.
Re: HBO's Vice Principals
It made me sick to my stomach when Goggins's character got caught spitting in the mug. The scene before that had me laughing so hard when he held the magnifying glass up to his enormous smile. I also love how mean Gambie is to the new office assistant. "I'm sorry you made me treat you like that"

You know what time it is? Because by my watch it's 12 o'clock.....brap brap

Another funny episode. Was great how Gambie was treating it like he would never see his daughter and the final scene was actually heartwarming with them in the hospital together.
We laughed so hard when that random clown was in the hospital and Goggins shoved him to the ground.

This show makes you feel all the emotions. Gambi proves he is a nice guy, but still went through with their evil plan. I couldn't believe when they admitted to burning her house down! Ahhhhhhh. RIP Gambi

It was hard not to think that during the flag raising scene

Wilkins shared a theory with me the other day that Lee is actually the one who shot Gamby.
