Onward is a Mil-Sim paced tactical multiplayer shooter, being developed for virtual reality head mounted displays. Players will use coordination, communication, and marksmanship skill to complete objectives in online infantry combat.

Podcast host said reloading the games is very realistic, I imagine it is something like Hotdog, Horseshoes, and Hand Grenades.

What makes this game more interesting is they are playing around with new traversing mechanics. That is the real hurdle right now, how do you navigate an entire world when you are limited to your play area

LOL. These reviews are great

-Joined a lobby without playing through the tutorial and have a minimal idea on how to play.
-There's another new player in my team, someone is explaining how to use the controls to us.
-try to grab gun, grab grenade instead, other new player also made same mistake.
-can't figure out how to put grenade back, accidiently pulls the pin.
-don't know what to do, drops the grenade on the ground.
-grenade goes boom, instantly wiping whole team out.
-lost the match for team in 30 seconds, no one is mad, everyone laughs.
-other new player thought he was the one who detonated the live grenade and took the blame.
-I stay silent.

10/10 would accidentally wipe whole team out again.
......................
- Last Alive
- Run out of ammo
- Run to enemy screeming shoot me
- His gun goes click
- Teach him how to load his pistol
- Me dead

10/10 would teach the enemy again

Wags was playing this while Corey and I were playing. He said he couldn't play tonight, I guess what he meant is he couldn't play with us.

Haha, I didn't get on until pretty late and figured you guys would be almost done.

The only thing I did in this game was go through the initial tutorial. I did build a loadout and start a single player game but I died almost immediately after I started walking. It was hard to see where I was getting shot from so I didn't know where to take cover. Looks like it could be a pretty cool game, I'll try to play a bit more this weekend.

This was also the first VR game I've played that doesn't use teleportation to move around. The actual walking locomotion was a bit dizzying at first but I think it would be easy to get used to.

Need to build up your VR legs, I don't fully have mine yet either.

Game is also 20% off this week if you like it.
