Explain this game to me. I think it's like a PUBG/battle Royal type game, but more cartoony like Overwatch? Also a crafting element to it? Is it free to play? Pros cons vs PUBG?
Re: Fortnite

It's basically PUBG but you are able to craft forts. You can cut/beat things down and you get the materials for that, so like a wooden wall that you break down you get wood, a car you get aluminum, etc etc. It is very cartoony. It is free to play the PVP aspect. There is a PVE aspect where you fight zombies or something that costs money.
The gunplay in this game is horrendous and is nowhere near realistic. The graphics, as you said are much more cartoony and less realistic. Less people play. I don't think there are leaderboards.

People seem to enjoy this game because of the silly/cartoony aspects. Roughly 50K less viewers on twitch than PUBG but still in the top three most viewed directory. I know there are leader boards among friends. I don't know if that carries over to a worldwide leader board or not.

The little gameplay I've seen does look like it has potential to at least be more entertaining than pubg, similar to older versions of cod vs battlefield at least for me.

The Battle Royale is free so no reason not to try it.
