My dad made my mom play this. She screamed SO LOUD during the opening. Evie was quite concerned "mima okay?"

She did the tutorial and got into the actual game play, but had to stop when the robot spiders started jumping at her.

She had a pretty difficult time with the analog stick to teleport and grip vs trigger.

Robo Recall (Oculus Rift)

Revisiting this game after a few months, I think this still stands out as one of the most polished VR games. I will be playing more of it because I would like to unlock everything.

My only complaint is little incentive to use anything other than the starting pistols. It takes too much time/effort to reach for a gun off the ground, easier to just reach into your hoslters, plus I fire the pistols so fast I can take out the simple bots pretty easily.

This game is really challenging to get more than 1 or 2 stars, some of the point requirements seem impossible. I've noticed in the scoreboard that Wags is the only one who plays. We are usually pretty close to the same score, but I can occasionally beat him.

You don't put the shotguns on your back? I probably use the shotgun as much as any other gun.

Werd, I think some of the objectives to get 5 stars on some levels is to complete it without using a gun. Meaning you would just have to grab and dismember every robot in the level.

I haven't played in a while. I should get back into it too.

D'oh!! I completely forgot this was on my back! I've only been using shotguns when I take them from bots. Thanks!!!

I think my favorite missions are when you need to throw the bots into the teleport thing. It's fun tossing them into it or sliding them across the ground.

I've made another breakthrough/I'm dumb.

1) I wasn't upgrading my weapons correctly. I was unlocking the new perk (like extra ammo) but I wasn't added the perk to the gun.
2) I wasn't equipping the newly upgraded weapon. I was upgrading it and then not equipping it to my holster
3) You can equip the plasma rifle on your back or revolver in your holster
4) You can mix and match. Plasma behind on right hand (where I am more accurate). Shotgun left hand where I don't need to be accurate. Same goes for holsters and revolver/pistol.

Screw the revolver and the plasma rifle, pistols all day every day. I can shoot so much faster with them and the bullets travel faster. It doesnt matter if they are weaker if I can land 4x the rounds in the same time.
I upgraded my shotgun and keep 2 of those on my back now.

Wags, I doubled your scores on 1-1 and 1-2. I can break 1 million now. The 2 million goal is still pretty far away.

Corey's score is 0 on the first level so at least you're still beating him
