New phone and phone news

Jocleyn got the Pixel 2 after her Pixel crapped out on her. Luckily Google should still give us $300+ for it since it turns on and screen isn't cracked. I'm having a heck of a time finding a USB C charger/headphone splitter. The ones I bought do not work and looks like everything on Amazon has poor reviews too.

I got this for her car since she can't charge/do AUX at the same time.

Now I need to come up with a solution for the house since she likes to fall asleep with headphones. Didn't Shark Tank have some kind of bluetooth speaker pillow?
Edit: Never mind. $150+

$45?!?
Brad, she could have Bluetooth headphones but kind of a pain to charge those up every night. I only considered the Bluetooth pillow because I assumed you could just leave it plugged in.

This year she has developed a ringing in her ear, like Baby has in Baby Driver and headphones at night help her mask it. She's been to the doctor and he gave her some medicine but he said a lot of people just have to live with it.

Tinnitus isn't a condition itself, it's a symptom of an underlying condition. Her condition is "that ear thing like Baby in Baby Driver"

I've been working with Solomon from Google for the past couple of days over my Pixel GPS issue. I think I am one email away from a replacement, makes me wish I would have tried this with Jocelyn's phone before giving up at Verizon and buying a new one through Google.

I spoke too soon!
We at Google will be able to process a replacement for the device, if the device is in warranty. Since the device is out of warranty, we do not have a repair option available. However, you can contact our repair partners and they should be happy to help you with this.

Was hoping Target had their deal going still, it was earlier this week, but no dice.

Google was offering Google store $100 credit recently also.

Bad iPhone notches are happening to good Android phones
Copying the iPhone’s design has never been done with more speed or cynicism

The Huawei P20 notch makes no sense, it has a huge bezel at the bottom so it's not like the phone has a edge to edge screen anyways.

I believe it uses the video to capture the best picture during low light. but I could be wrong.
