Yep...all accurate. The witch doing her hula hoop moves was so silly and I found myself laughing at her a lot during the movie.

So I finally got around to watching this massive piece of shit movie. If that doesn't give you any indication, I did not enjoy it.

The first 1/3 of the movie was so segmented and poorly put together it felt like it was the first draft of the story. When Waller was briefing the other guy about each of the individual characters, those were some of the worst intros I've seen in a movie. She might as well have said "Next, let me tell you about [blank]" after each one because the transitions they used weren't much better.

I hated the use of popular/once popular songs in the soundtrack that just seemed to begin and end with no regard to what it added to the movie. It's like the editors said "Hey I heard this one song I like, let's put in the movie!" and then they did.

No character had enough backstory for the audience to care about them. And that made it even more awkward/out of place when the team gets together and one minute they don't care about each other but the next scene they're "family" and everyone cares deeply for one another.

Harley Quinn was annoying as hell. The Joker was a douchebag. Killer Croc should have been bigger, he was about the same size as a regular guy. El Diablo didn't do shit until almost the end of the movie. The Enchantress was terrible CGI and, like you said, looked silly with her stupid dancing. I could not have given a shit less about the Australian guy and the Japanese girl. They could have not been in the movie and nothing would have changed. Which reminds me, why was the Australian guy even recruited? He's a bank robber and is OK with knives. The fact that he had a run in with the Flash makes him qualified to be on a super villain team? That's fucking stupid. Flag's lines were basically written as "how many military movie cliches can we fit into one character".

Deadshot was the only tolerable character because he was the only one with more depth to his character than the extras that got killed in the subway.

I think the reason I get so angry about this movie is that I really wanted to like it. Same with BvS. These could have been done so well and set up to rival the MCU but DC somehow just keeps fucking everything up.

Sounds like Wagner would give it a B+

But f'real, consider yourself lucky for watching the extended cut. That was suppose to add some scenes that improved things.

This was worse than the X-Men movie this summer?

I enjoyed the x-men movie for the most part. So yes, this was worse.

THIS IS KATANA
SHE'S GOT MY BACK.
I WILL ADVICE NOT TO GET KILLED BY HER, THE SWORD TRAPS THE SOULS OF HER VICTIMS

You mean that wasn't the best character development you've ever seen?

*Academy Award Winning Movie*

Has any Marvel movie won an Oscar for literally anything?

Edit: Nope, ZERO for the MCU

From this thread. What's a throw-away line that bothers you more than it probably should??
This is Katana. She's got my back.
I would advise not getting killed by her. Her sword traps the souls of its victims.

I don't remember any lines. The two mentioned are pretty bad though.
