I need to get back into the groove of this game if I stand any chance of taking scores back. I'm rusty, I can't just jump in for 5 minutes and expect to beat a high score.

It takes a lot of effort to get back up to that. That's why I found it so amusing when I beat some of your scores by less than 1000.

South Korea is getting these in VR arcades. Using Windows headsets. It's cool, but I keep thinking how gross it will be.
I imagine you just pay for the time?

Oh man, that place has got to smell so bad. I imagine they will give you disposable covers, but still. Gross. Also, this is a very expensive machine to play a 15 dollar game.

Easy to say that as someone who owns a $1k gaming PC and $400 worth of VR gear. I mean, I agree, but this is a way for normies to experience VR

I had this grand plan to start playing this game secretly offline and slowly beat Wilkins's scores and one day casually bring up I have all of the scores back. A few problems with this.
1) Can't see friends' scores when offline
2) I am rusty
3) I don't want to get sweaty
4) I don't want to dedicate more time to this

Had some VR virgins over last night and showed them this game and nothing else. Decided this would be the game when one of the guys said he has horrible motion sickness. They each only played 15 minutes, but they all loved it. Asked how much it cost and how could they do it at home.
Tonight I decided to play it since I haven't played for months. Did the LoL song and tried expert +. I was impressed with myself when I passed them both, but then saw the "no fail mode" from last night was still on somehow since the kids played. I failed so fast after turning that on.
This is going to make me sound like a baby, but this game is harder on WMR because the controllers use 2 batteries vs the 1 AA of the RIft. I can feel the extra weight of that single battery (and different controllers) and my arms get tired faster.

Yeah i've been playing it a lot and having other VR virgins play too. The lighter controllers are super useful i cant imagine how it would feel if they were any heavier.
Do you have the song loader mod installed? I have about 280 songs now because the mod makes loading users custom made songs super easy!
Re: Beat Saber (VR) - May 1
Yep. I have the mod installed. I did maybe about 10 custom songs. So many of them are trash and not timed right so I was only doing highly rated ones
When I was really into the game I only wanted to play the 10 original songs because I wanted to get good at those and beat wilkins

I challenge you to download and try Gas gas gas. Even with no fail it's ridiculously hard but a lot of fun.
