Question of the Day
I take all my leftovers to work, even if they aren't mine. Janelle and the kids never eat them.

Question of the Day
I'm bad at eating leftovers. I try to cook meals that only serve us one time. Sarah sometimes takes them to work but now she makes her own lunches for the week.

Question of the Day
We usually make meals at home specifically to have leftovers for lunches. Then if there are enough leftovers, we'll be lazy a night or two per week and use leftovers for dinner. But mostly it's for lunches.

Jocelyn and I fend for ourselves for lunches. I can luckily go out to eat a couple days a week, she usually does something healthy and boring. I need to get better about doing sandwiches or find something else cheap and easy to do do for lunch.

I used to actually go home for lunch most days. Now I bring food to take a shorter lunch and leave earlier. At my old job, I found myself going out for lunch quite often and wanted to stop doing that, mostly to save money but also because I was eating a lot of garbage food.

Re: Question of the Day
I don't mean for this to be offensive for anyone with these traits. Would you rather be blind or deaf?
Deaf for me. Can still communicate through technology. Can probably live a more independent life than someone who is blind.
I'm also assuming you lose your sense well into your life. If this was something to be born with it might be a different question

Question of the Day
Deaf. I can't imagine not being able to watch movies, play video games, get around. Even going to work would be near impossible.
I wouldn't necessarily enjoy giving up music, and horror movies probably suck without music and hearing voices, but on the flipside, horror movies would suck with just shitty sound effects too.

Question of the Day
This one is difficult to me. I spend a lot of time playing video games or watching movies/tv shows. Most of my communication is text based such as texting, emails, or website based chatting.
I also spend a lot of time playing music, listening to podcast/music.

Re: Question of the Day
The hardest thing about choosing to keep your sense of sight versus hearing is how difficult it would be for your kids and you to communicate back and forth
Question of the Day
I think at this point, it would be easier to lose hearing than sight. Mostly for a lot of the reasons Wilkins mentioned. Also, losing hearing late in life would still allow you to at least speak to people. I also feel like losing sight would make me more of a burden to others needing someone to bring me everywhere.

To be fair you already are a burden on all of uswags83 wrote:I think at this point, it would be easier to lose hearing than sight. Mostly for a lot of the reasons Wilkins mentioned. What is the best story? Across all forms of media. Tv, movie, fables, comics, books, folklore.
This was asked on a podcast and one host said Memento
I don't even know where to start with it.
