America's Got Talent

Postby Tyler » Mon May 14, 2012 10:12 pm

Starts tonight. Does anyone else watch this? This would be a good one to get people talking.

First guy through! The earth harp was way cool

Some good acts. I'm not crazy about the singing usually, but the father/daughter duets were pretty good. Dancing was meh as usual.

Can't believe there is another dark/light routine and the judges said it was the best one they have seen, and the most original. TF?

Crossbow was cool, but I'm a baby. When those thrill acts come on it frightens me to think how they are going to have to top it.

I was so happy that Simply Sergio turned out to be a great opera singer.

I usually get a kick out of this show, but I never really get into it and watch it steadily.

Two years ago I watched it all the way through, last season I watched like 75%.

This year Howard Stern has replaced Piers Morgan as the 3rd judge. So far he seems alright.

i will watch just because howard stern is on. i really like him. loved the harp thing, i think that type of act has so much possibility to win. simply sergio almost blew it for himself. i hate singing and dancing acts, theres already shows for those people. i want to see something creative win instead of singing or ventriloquism.

i thought it was dumb that the white rapper dude got through when he sucked and all he did was rap about the judges, then promised he made it up on spot.

This is my first real time watching Stern do anything. I think I like him.

Werd to the harp. That could totally be a Vegas show already, just need some more people and dancers.
Also, I agree on singing/dancing acts. We want something creative, go to The Voice or So You Think You Can Dance for those acts.

Jocelyn and I totally had this same dicussion.
"Durr... I promise you I totally made up this freestyle. To show how spontaneous I am I will rap about something completely random! How about...umm... oh! The judge that I already knew about and easily could have rehearsed before, but I promise I didn't!"

I like that he is completely honest with people. I also liked that they did this huge tribute to him before the show started and barely mentioned the howie or sharron. just shows that he means so much more to the show.

im curious to see if anything can even compete with the earth harp, i just dont see that happening from any other act.

Howard is such a dick to the other judges. "I thought I am the most popular judge this guy is painting a picture of me" typical thing for howard to do.
