I haven't seen the last 2 or 3 Tranformers movies, does Bumblebee still only talk through radio songs?

I have the 1st 3 on vudu. Need to get the rest. This seems interesting though.

I typically don't watch trailers on CPT anymore, but I watched this because I was curious how bad it looked. Looks like this might be a prequel? Someone needs to update that comic talking about how horrible the Transformers timeline is.

On the run in the year 1987, Bumblebee the Autobot seeks refuge in a junkyard in a small California beach town. Charlie, on the brink of turning 18 years old and trying to find her place in the world, soon discovers the battle-scarred and broken Bumblebee. When Charlie revives him, she quickly learns that this is no ordinary yellow Volkswagen. https://youtu.be/fAIX12F6958

So it lookes like bumble has no voice but the first transformer bumble has voice then it got damage in a fight. Then he uses the radio to talk.

Bumble Bee hasn't talked in any of the movies, not even the first one from 10+ years ago.

I might actually take Evie to this....
We've seen trailers and they use to scare her, but last time we saw one she seemed to like it.

Saw this yesterday and thought it was pretty good. For sure the most kid friendly of the franchise (I assume, I haven't seen them all). Evie got a little scared at the end with the 2 bad bots and "had to go potty" just to leave the theater for a bit. When we sat on the potty she said "it's a quiet one. You cant hear it".

As good as it was, I don't think it is worth seeing it in theaters unless you are watching through kids eyes. It can wait until Redbox for most.

Best line of the movie goes to John Cena. "They call themselves Decepticons. That doesn't raise any red flags to anyone?"

Something I remember from Tranformers is never being able to follow the robot fighting. Who is who, what robot part is that? This movie didn't have any of that. All of the action was easy to see and take it.

This movie had a lot of cheese, but it was intentional cheese. Cena is generic 80's military villain. "Saddle up, we're going to Texas" and then cocks a gun in the middle of an office

<insert comic of how the Transformer movie timeline doesn't make any sense>
at first they retconned that the autobots just arrived when Bumblebee was purchased by Sam
then they retconned that they've been actually around since the height of the Egyptian dynasties
then they retconned that they've been actually on the moon since at least the moon landings
then they retconned that they've been around since the Cretaceous period and destroyed the dinosaurs
then they retconned that they've been around since the fall of the Roman Empire and fought alongside King Arthur, and that Bumblebee punched Hitler in the face
now they're retconning that they've only been around since 1987

This was my only lols. Rest of the memo was pretty generic, but okay.
